Which shade of Shampowder is right for me?


Light Shampowder is for blondes.  Dark Shampowder works for all shades of brunette and red-heads. Black is perfect for black hair.

 

How do you apply Shampowder?


Dab - Dab - Dab! Using the specially designed applicator brush, generously apply the powder by daubing directly to your hairline (where your forehead and hair meet) and scalp. By dabbing (rather than sweeping) the brush will function most effectively and Shampowder will be placed exactly where needed.

 

Will Shampowder clean my hair?


Shampowder will leave your hair feeling refreshed and cleaner than before, but it does not "clean" your hair.

 

How does Shampowder work?


Shampowder is designed to absorb the oils that weigh down unwashed hair.  Lifeless hair is transformed into full, more manageable hair while the pigmented powder blends seamlessly, disguising the fact that you skipped a washing.

Is Shampowder safe for use on colour-treated or permed hair?


Yes. Shampowder’s formula is mild and will not react with most colour treated or permed hair.

 

Will Shampowder discolour my scalp?


After two years of perfecting the formula - the shades were developed to blend in beautifully and you should not see a discolouration of your scalp. Additionally the pigments are water soluble and will wash out of your hair easily.

 

Will Shampowder stain my clothes?


With the help of the applicator the perfect amount of powder is dispensed so there is little excess. The applied powder clings to the oil on your scalp and does not come off onto your clothes or pillow. In the case of colour transfer, don't worry, it will wash right out.

 

How do you remove the seal on a new Shampowder applicator?


To remove the seal on a new applicator unlock the cap & brush by turning counter-clockwise, slide up to reveal the black barrel, unscrew from base by turning counter-clockwise, remove the seal and replace the cap & brush. Prior to your first use, tap the applicator with cap on (brush side down) on a firm surface to begin the powder flowing.
